Ubud, Bali – 19 June 2025 – In the spirit of giving back and embracing the Balinese philosophy of Tri Hita Karana, Wapa di Ume Ubud proudly hosted a memorable Charity Dinner in Ubud in collaboration with the Bhakti Senang Hati Foundation, a remarkable non-profit that has been empowering and supporting individuals with disabilities in Gianyar since 2003.
Held at the serene and lush grounds of this renowned Ubud resort, the event welcomed more than 15 kind-hearted guests, including loyal supporters and resort team members, all united by one purpose — to give back to the community.
Through the generosity of attendees, the evening raised almost IDR 15 million in donations. 100% of the proceeds were donated directly to the Bhakti Senang Hati Foundation to support their ongoing programs in education, care, and empowerment for people with disabilities in Bali.
The night began with a refreshing welcome cocktail, followed by a lavish all-you-can-eat dinner prepared by Chef Nawi, blending authentic Balinese flavors with modern culinary creativity. Guests were also treated to soulful performances by foundation members, including a Djembe Drum & Rindik ensemble, a moving solo vocal performance, and a captivating creative dance — each performance showcasing the talent, spirit, and resilience of the performers.
This Bali charity event is part of Wapa di Ume Ubud’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives, underlining the value of Pawongan — harmony among people — while celebrating Balinese culture through meaningful community engagement.
“Tonight’s event wasn’t just about sharing a meal — it was about connection, purpose, and hope. We are deeply honored to support the Bhakti Senang Hati Foundation and look forward to continuing this meaningful collaboration” said Gusti Suparsa, Operational Manager of Wapa di Ume Ubud.
Wapa di Ume Ubud extends heartfelt gratitude to all attendees, partners, and contributors who made this Charity Dinner in Ubud a meaningful and impactful evening. Through continued kindness and collaboration, we can inspire change and strengthen the bonds of our community.
