- What is Nyepi Day ?
Nyepi Day, also known as the Balinese Day of Silence, marks the Balinese New Year which is fall in 19th March 2026. It is a sacred day observed across Bali, during which the island comes to a complete pause in accordance with cultural traditions and local regulations. In respect of Balinese Cultural, our resort observes Nyepi Day in accordance with local regulations and customes. Nyepi Day is observed from 6AM ~ 6AM the following day. During this period the entire island Bali completely paused and no activity; no flight, no lights on, no activity outside, no cars on the road even people are stay in the resort area only.

Are guests allowed to leave the resort during Nyepi Day?
No. Guests are required to remain within the resort premises throughout Nyepi Day. Leaving or entering the property, including check-ins and check-outs, is not permitted. -
Is the resort provide activities during Nyepi Day ?
Yes, Wapa di Ume Ubud offers a selection of mindful activities during Nyepi Day, thoughtfully designed to enhance the spirit of silence and reflection.
