As part of its ongoing dedication to the Pawongan aspect — nurturing meaningful relationships within the community — Wapa di Ume Ubud proudly continues its annual Charity Dinner program, a heartfelt initiative designed to support and uplift local children in need.
This year, Wapa di Ume Ubud once again presents the spirit of #SharingIsCaring in collaboration with Yayasan Taman Permata Hati – Bali Orphan Day Centre. This meaningful partnership reflects a long-term commitment to ensuring that the resort can continuously contribute to the sustainability and development of the orphanage center located in Ubud. Currently, Yayasan Taman Permata Hati supports more than 30 children who require financial assistance to continue their education and personal development. Beyond academic support, the foundation also encourages the children to explore and practice valuable life skills that help shape a brighter and more independent future.
To celebrate the spirit of compassion and togetherness, the Charity Dinner will be held on 8th June 2026, from 6.30 PM until 9.30 PM, at the enchanting Di Ume Amphitheater of Wapa di Ume Ubud. Surrounded by verdant rice fields and the tranquil ambiance of Ubud’s nature, the evening promises a memorable cultural and culinary experience for all guests.
The event will feature special performances by the Angklung Choirs alongside captivating live Balinese dance performances, showcasing the richness of local art and culture. Guests will also indulge in welcome cocktails and a delightful live BBQ dinner experience prepared by the resort’s culinary team.
In addition to the evening festivities, Wapa di Ume Ubud will open donation opportunities through selected hotel products and direct contributions, with proceeds dedicated to supporting the children and programs of the orphanage foundation.
Guests are invited to be part of this meaningful evening with a contribution of IDR 388,000++ per person.
Through this initiative, Wapa di Ume Ubud hopes to continue creating positive impacts within the community while inspiring the spirit of empathy, kindness, and collective care among guests, partners, and the wider community.
