Initiates Heartfelt Charity Dinner in Support of Bhakti Senang Hati Foundation

Ubud, Bali – 19 June 2025

In the spirit of giving back and strengthening the Balinese philosophy of Tri Hita Karana, Wapa di Ume Ubud proudly hosted a special Charity Dinner this evening in collaboration with Bhakti Senang Hati Foundation — an inspiring local organization that has supported and empowered individuals with disabilities in Gianyar since 2003.

Held at the serene grounds of Wapa di Ume Ubud, the dinner welcomed > 15 guests, including kind-hearted supporters and team members from the resort, all united by a shared purpose: to give back to the community.
Through the event, an impressive almost IDR 15 million in donations was
raised, with 100% of the proceeds going directly to Bhakti Senang Hati Foundation to aid their continued work in education, care, and empowerment.

The evening began with a refreshing welcome cocktail, followed by a lavish all-you-can-eat dinner curated by our very own Chef Nawi, blending traditional Balinese flavors with culinary creativity. Guests were also treated to soulful performances by talented members of the foundation, including a Djembe Drum & Rindik ensemble, a solo vocal performance, and a captivating creative dance — all of which expressed the spirit and resilience of the performers.

This charity dinner is part of Wapa di Ume Ubud’s ongoing CSR initiative, underlining our commitment to Pawongan — harmony among people — and celebrating the soul of our local culture through meaningful community engagement.

“Tonight’s event wasn’t just about a meal — it was about connection, purpose, and hope. We are deeply honored to support the Bhakti Senang Hati Foundation and look forward to continuing this meaningful collaboration,” said Gusti Suparsa, Operational Manager of Wapa di Ume Ubud.

Wapa di Ume Ubud extends heartfelt gratitude to all attendees and contributors who made this evening a memorable and impactful one.
